Prostitutes In Kuala Lumpur

Almost every night, Amy (not her real name) would go "clubbing" at the nightspots in Jalan Bukit Bintang and Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur's golden triangle, looking for fun and "extra cash". With her black skin-tight miniskirts with a revealing top, Amy easily draws attention from the males as soon as she walks into any of these nightspots.

Amy is 21 years-old and comes from a state in the east coast of West Malaysia. Amy came to KL to get a job after obtaining a 3rd grade in the SPM exams. At first she obtained a job as a sales promoter at a shopping centre in the city, but her monthly salary of RM800 is hardly enough for her to survive in KL. To make matters worse, she has to send home approximately RM200 a month for her parents and 5 siblings who are still schooling.

Is RM600 sufficient for her room rental as well as food, transportation, handphone, cosmetics, clothes and entertainment expenses in KL ? Hardly so. Amy found an easy way out of her predicament. As she is blessed with a beautiful figure and a cute face, she decided to join the world's oldest profession - prostitution. She found a job as part-time prostitute to earn the extra cash she desperately needs for her luxurious lifestyle.

Becoming a prostitute is nothing new in Malaysia. Many women, even those with tertiary education and permanent employment still become prostitutes. Educated women who become prostitutes are usually part-timers who want a luxurious lifestyle like owning a nice condo, an expensive car, the latest sophisticated handphones and wearing designer clothes. Aparently the demand for prostitutes in Malaysia is rather high, especially in cities like Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Ipoh.

In Kuala Lumpur, lower class brothels and prostitutes are mostly located in Jalan Alor, Jalan Hicks and Jalan Bukit Bintang all in the Bukit Bintang area, and in Jalan Thambipillay, in the Brickfields area. These, as well as the infamous red-light district of Lorong Haji Taib and Chow Kit is the hub for prostitution in Kuala Lumpur.

Higher class prostitutes or call girls (sometimes also called escorts) normally ply their trade at nightspots in Jalan Bukit Bintang, Jalan Sultan Ismail, Jalan Horley and Jalan Imbi. With the influx of prostitutes from China, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar and the Philippines, the local girls are getting the run for their money. Of all these foreigner women, those from China (locally called China Girls) seem to have entrepreneurial advantage - read How "China Dolls" Make Money In Malaysia.

There is a huge disparity in the earnings of a high class prostitute and a lower end hooker in Kuala Lumpur. A high class call girl with a regular clients would be able to earn as much as RM2,000 per night, or even more. She often also works as a Guest Relations Officer (GRO) at an exclusive karaoke lounge to solicit for clients and earn a salary with tips as well. However, life is different for hookers operating at Lorong Haji Taib or Chow Kit. They generally earn just enough for the basic living necessities. They would be lucky to earn RM50 a night. Some supplement their income working as GROs for tips in budget karaoke lounges locally called papaya farms.

Prostitutes in Malaysia not only ply their trade in nightspots and hotels but also double up as masseuse (locally referrd to as massage girls) working at massage parlours, Spa, health centres etc in the city centre.

What's after SPM?

The SPM 2009 (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) exam is almost over now and the form 5 students can start celebrating their liberation from long hours of study, and chasing their homework deadlines.

While majority of them can breathe a sigh of relief, separation with good old friends, especially those students and buddies who have been together for years in boarding schools, can become an emotional event.

As the saying goes – life goes on. And end marks a beginning of a new chapter of life. A life of an adult.

The result of this year’s SPM will be some way ahead and would take months to come out (normally in March the next year). Between now and March 2009, you have about 3 or 4 months time to do something. Is 3 months period too short to do anything? Well, the answer lies in you. Only you can answer the question.

Let’s see things you can do between finishing your SPM and getting your exam results next year.

1. Do nothing

Exactly. Just sit back and relax. Do almost nothing except the usual daily routines. Eat, rest, play Play Station games all day and sleep. If you need money just ask from your parents. No need to go the extra miles and find your own way of earning some hard earned cash. Do this until the SPM result is out. Those who do this are categorized as ‘spoilt’. Eventually they will realize one day how much time and how many opportunities they may have missed by not doing anything during this period.

2. Do soul searching now

Now is the best time for you to take that long break and think of what you want to do for the rest of your life. If all this while you’ve been drummed with the advice “go to top medical school and graduate as a doctor”, ask yourself now if that is where your desire and ambition lie? Perhaps you true passion is in art, music or sports? Remember, one of the worst mistakes you can do in life is to allow other people dictating what you should do with your life. Start minding your own business now.

Take the extra initiative to spend time at education fairs, career talks and other events related to career and education. Get the feel of your next possible move. Talk to the booth participants and ask for some guidance, there will be helping hands willing to help you out. By doing so, you will also improve your interaction and communication skills, especially with strangers. Note that these skills will be very much sought after in the job market.

3. Attend short courses

Do some assessment; evaluate the skills that you’re lacking and find courses or programs that can improve you and prepare you better for a more challenging life later. Enroll for English classes, photo editing, photography lesson and many courses that will add value to your marketability and elevate your confidence. For those selected for NS (National Service), this will be your ‘course’, as you’re left with little option. Rather than finger pointing it as a bad luck, take this as a challenge.

4. Find jobs

Those who look for jobs may not be the most excellent students academically but when it comes to money management and professional career, they tend to do better. Early experience will teach them a good lesson and they will fast to adapt to the reality of the working world. Just remember that someone with a short 3 months of working experience is much better than someone who has zero experience. By working in early life, you will also appreciate money better, especially when you earned with your own effort and sweat.

5. Start a small business

This sounds overwhelming, but there are countless of stories out there about successful entrepreneurs who started their business early in life. Just look at the likes of Steve Jobs and Michael Dell who were ‘forced’ to abandon their studies because their businesses were growing too fast.

Inevitably, these people were met with failures, one after another, but every time they failed, they stood back again on their feet, until they made things right. In school, mistakes are considered bad things and are often come with punishment. In the reality of life, those who fail more will eventually attain more achievements than others.

12. 4 years of diploma, 2 years of degree, 2 years of master, 4 years of PhD n 10 month of Alchemy..
13. BANG BANG BANG......32 years old already....get laid...have few kids(at least 8 or 9) continue on my MISSION which is froze up north pole before it melts(but I think it will melt within 10 years from now~)...

Crowded Crows

I hate walking in a crowded place. Especially just now at Sutera Mall. Walking behind an old women, queuing behind talkative old man. All the teten mamas is shitly known as Ah Beng and Ah Lians. Thats what Daryn told to me in MSN. Next time, I wont go shopping on a weekends. So fuckin crowded. Thats why some rich bugger booked whole shopping complex before shopping with his girl. Then got so many Ah Lians wearing ah lians clothing which was so open and so thin until I can even see their tutities. LOL. Daniel also said last time, fuck 1 time sure tak keluar rumah punye!!

It is not very dangerous because the Chemical used is from our kitchen....
It will not explode on your hand unless you shake it.
It will only works on Coke bottle, Ice Lemon Tea bottle, 100 Plus bottle and any other high quality bottle (Remember: It will not work on 1 ringgit MINERAL BOTTLE)
It is quite fun but sometimes some IDIOT will throw it on somebody. And that would be a problem..
